実演イベント「実演!卑弥呼の五尺刀を打つ」のご案内

兵庫県立考古博物館にて10月28日、公開鍛練をします。
「兵庫県立考古博物館開館５周年・史跡大中遺跡発見50周年記念特別展－卑弥呼がいた時代」の実演イベントに参加させていただきます。
－実演イベント－「実演!卑弥呼の五尺刀を打つ」
河内國平が卑弥呼に下賜された大刀を復元的に鍛えます。
日時：2012年10月28日（日）14:00～19:00頃まで
少々前の事になりますが、親方と共に現地に下見に行って来ました。
河内國平一門としての公開鍛練は、リトアニアでの招聘実演以来となります。
親方は、横座。
そして、現在修行中の金田君、弟弟子の小宮國天氏（福岡県に鍛刀場を構え、近年新作名刀展にて連続受賞の若手のホープ）、そして私の3人が先手をします。
大変貴重な公開鍛練となります。
ぜひ皆さん、「鉄を打つ」、私達の阿吽の呼吸をお楽しみ下さい。
もうすぐ四十路になろうおじさんが、現役の金田君、そして若き弟弟子と先手をします。
若さに負けぬよう、貫禄を見せねばなりません。笑
実演に関しては、当日まで何度も記事にしていきたいと思います。

I'm pleased to announce that Japanese Swordsmith Kunihira KAWACHI family including me will give a demonstration in forging process as one of evens of "Era of Himiko, the queen of Yamataikoku" to commemorate the 5th anniversary of the museum and the 50th anniversary of discovery of Ohnaka ruins at Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Archaeology on October 28th.
This will be the first demonstration in 5 years after we gave it in Lithuania in 2007.
It must be precious opportunity for all of you to see our demonstration.
We are looking forward to seeing you at the museum.
